Each year, 6.6 million tonnes of household food waste are thrown away in the UK. And Tesco wants to help. Giving you the choice of bringing the food back to life and stop the waste cycle.

How? Presenting: Compost Discount. Gather the spoiled food you didn’t eat and bring it to the compost bins located in your nearest Tesco. That’s all, we will turn it into compost fertilizer and supply eat to the local farmers working with us. Additionally, for each kilogram of food waste you bring, you get a 10% discount on our next harvest.
